A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2019 was valued at US $ 98.1 million, down 48.53 percent compared to the export value in August 2018.
  • The value of tin exports fell 34.49 percent and non-profit fell 90.61 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 13.76 percent. Tin exports rose 60.14 percent, while non-export exports dropped 83.87 percent.
  • During January-August 2019, Singapore absorbed 53.74 percent (US $ 419.5 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbed 19.46 percent (US $ 36.4 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of mineral fuels (HS 27) in January-August 2019 dominates at US $ 79.2 million or 42.30 percent of the total non-regional exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
    • B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
    The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2019 was US $ 0.2 million, down 98.29 percent compared to August 2018. Thus, imports from January to August 2019 became US $ 10.5 million.
  • As many as 77.94 percent of imports in January-August 2019 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to August 2019 are dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 80.56 percent (US $ 6.60 million).
  • In January-August 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 5.84 million (55.57 percent).
