Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 was valued at US $ 99.6 million, down 39.73 percent compared to the export value in June 2019.
  • The value of tin exports fell 33.01 percent, and non-profit fell 64.47 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose 36.11 percent. Tin exports rose 51.96 percent and non-export exports dropped 21.02 percent.
  • During January-June 2020, Singapore absorbed 19.87 percent (US $ 94.2 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 22.19 percent (US $ 23.2 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-June 2020 dominated US $ 80.3 million or 76.92 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
  • The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2020 was US $ 3.57 million, up 108.16 percent compared to June 2019. Thus, imports from January to June 2020 became US $ 9.80 million.
  • As much as 83.47 percent of imports in January-June 2020 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to June 2020 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 64.90 percent (US $ 5.31 million).
  • In January-June 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 2.06 million (21.06 percent).
