Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP of the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in September 2022 was 119.03 or down 0.99 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The decrease in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was lower by 0.64 percent compared to the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which increased by 1.64 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) of 93.27; Horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H) of 118.00; People's Plantation Sub-sector (NTP-R) of 121.58; Livestock sub-sector (NTP-T) of 108.67; Fishery Subsector (NTP-P) is 108.59 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) is 109.23 and Cultivated Fisheries Group (NTPi) is 89.96.
In September 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 1.28 percent due to the increase in the index in 8 (eight) expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 1 expenditure group experienced a decrease in index and the other 2 expenditure groups did not experience a change in index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2022 was 113.28, down 1.76 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
