Inter-island sea freight passengers November 2022; leaving: 21.52 thousand people, arriving: 29.74 thousand people

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2022 was recorded at 21.52 thousand people, down 19.33 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-November 2021), the flow of departing passengers experienced an increase of 78.59 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province in November 2022 was recorded at 29.74 thousand people. This number decreased by 10.39 percent compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-November 2021), the flow of arriving passengers has increased by 80.80 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at ports in November 2022 was 773.94 thousand tons, down by 21.85 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 990.38 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during November 2022 was 492.21 thousand tons, down by 6.92 percent compared to the previous month which reached 528.81 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in November 2022 was recorded at 72.88 thousand people, a decrease of 2.57 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transport in November 2022 was 75.02 thousand people, a decrease of 1.42 percent compared to the previous month.
