Inter-island sea transportation passengers March 2023; departing: 23.91 thousand people, arriving: 27.43 thousand people

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands Province in March 2023 was recorded at 23.91 thousand people, up 5.65 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-March 2022), the flow of departing passengers increased by 9.51 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in March 2023 was recorded at 27.43 thousand people. This number increased by 2.13 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-March 2022), the flow of arriving passengers decreased by 4.47 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in March 2023 was 819.81 thousand tons, an increase of 38.32 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 592.71 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during March 2023 was 389.17 thousand tons, an increase of 13.91 percent compared to the previous month of 341.65 thousand tons.
The number of air transportation passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in March 2023 was recorded at 73.93 thousand people, an increase of 13.13 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in March 2023 was recorded at 80.07 thousand people, an increase of 20.30 percent compared to the previous month.
