Inter-island sea freight passengers February 2023 departing 22.63 thousand people, arriving 26.86 thousand people

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2023 was recorded at 22.63 thousand people, down 17.54 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-February 2022), the flow of departing passengers increased by 15.31 per cent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2023 was recorded at 26.86 thousand people. This number decreased by 33.35 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-February 2022), the flow of arriving passengers increased by 2.80 per cent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in February 2023 was 592.71 thousand tonnes, a decrease of 34.38 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 903.30 thousand tonnes. The volume of goods unloaded during February 2023 was 341.65 thousand tonnes, a decrease of 32.12 percent compared to the previous month of 503.29 thousand tonnes.
The number of air transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in February 2023 was recorded at 65.35 thousand people, a decrease of 14.32 per cent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in February 2023 was recorded at 66.56 thousand people, a decrease of 20.23 per cent compared to the previous month.
