August 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Tanjung Pandan is 1.75 percent

Abstract

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.44 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.35 percent; transportation group by 1.20 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.67 percent; education group of 7.90 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.67 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.01 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decline in the index were: the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.38 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.02 percent; health group at 1.08 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.06 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 1.67 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.74 percent.
