Abstract

• In November 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) deflation in Tanjung Pandan of 0.09 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.29.
• The y-on-y deflation occurred due to a decrease in prices indicated by a decrease in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 0.71 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.38 percent; the household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group by 0.29 percent; the health group by 1.34 percent; the transportation group by 0.39 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.08 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y inflation or an increase in the index were: the clothing and footwear group by 0.46 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 4.24 percent; the education group by 3.39 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.38 percent; and personal care and other services group by 1.73 percent.
• Month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate by 0.01 percent and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate by 0.56 percent
