January 2025, Deflation of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung 0.23 percent

Abstract

In January 2025, year on year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung deflation rate was 0.23 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.36. The deepest y-on-y inflation in Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung was seen in Kabupaten Bangka Barat at 1.28 percent with a CPI of 100.95, while the highest inflation y-on-y was seen in Kabupaten Belitung Timur at 0.72 percent with a CPI of 104.03.
Year on Year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung deflation occurred as the price went down, as indicated by the decrease in some expenditure groups indices, namely: Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group of 15.39 percent and Information, Communication and Financial Services Group of 0.17 percent.
On the other hand, y-o-y inflation occurred as indicated by the increase of indices in Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group of 3.35 percent; Clothing and Footwear group of 1.81 percent; Furnishings, Household Equipment, and Routine Household Maintenance Group of 0.24 percent; Health Group of 1.35 percent; Transportation Group of 0.50 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group of 1.51 percent; Education Group of 3.22 percent; Food and Beverage Serving Services/Restaurant Group of 0.66 percent; and the Personal Care and Other Services Group of 3.89 percent.
While each of The Month to Month (m-to-m) and Year to Date (y-to-d) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung deflation rate was 0.85 percent.
