Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data tools that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or district / city) for a certain period of time. GRDP calculation is carried out through three approaches, namely: production / supply approach (GRDP according to industry / industry sector), final expenditure / demand approach (GRDP according to expenditure), and income approach (GRDP according to income / income) This publication specifically discusses regarding GRDP with the final expenditure / demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditures, Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditures that serve Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventories), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Net Exports Between Regions (exports between regions reduced by imports between regions). The GRDP data in this publication uses the 2010 base year and has implemented the concept of the System of National Accounts 2008 in accordance with United Nations recommendations.
