Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2024 was 121.09 or an increase of 0.86 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.93 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) rose more modestly, namely by 0.06 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 99.39; Horticultural subsector (NTP-H) was 113.27; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 124.29; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 109.33; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 109.48 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 110.18 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 89.31.
In February 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.02 percent, which was caused by an increase in the index in 7 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 2 expenditure groups experienced a decline and 2 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2024 was 117.30 or an increase of 0.67 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
