Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province NTP in October 2024 amounted to 139.64 or increased 0.75 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.66 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.09 percent.
NTP of Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) amounted to 101.58; Horti kultura Subsector (NTP-H) amounted to 102.58; People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-R) amounted to 148.79; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) amounted to 110.85; Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) amounted to 108.62 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) amounted to 109.29 and Aquaculture Fisheries Group (NTPi) amounted to 89.28.
In October 2024 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.08 percent caused by a decrease in the index in 2 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 6 expenditure groups experienced an increase and 3 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in October 2024 amounted to 136.13 or increased by 0.70 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
