Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in December 2024 was 143.22 or an increase of 1.05 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.68 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) also increased but was lower, namely 0.63 percent.
Food Crop Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 99.62; Horticulture subsector (NTP-H) was 98.15; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 153.90; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 111.18; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 107.57 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 108.23 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 88.47.
In December 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.85 percent which is caused by an increase in the index in 6 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 2 expenditure groups experienced a decline and 3 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in December 2024 was 140.64 or an increase of 1.69 percent compared to the previous month's.
