March 2025 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Tanjung Pandan was 0.71 percent

In March 2025, Tanjung Pandan year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation was 0.71 percent with a CPI of 105.75.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages, and tobacco group by 1.35 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.14 percent; transportation group by 1.09 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.05 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 3.41 percent; education group by 1.46 percent; and personal care and other services group by 2.69 percent. Groups experiencing y-on-y deflation were: housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.07 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.39 percent; and health group by 1.13 percent. The food and beverage/restaurant provision group did not experience any changes in the index.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.82 percent and year to date (y-to-d) was -0.67 percent.
