The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in January 2024 was 121.09 or an increase of 0.86 percent

Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2023 was 120.06 or an increase of 1.55 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.52 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.03 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 100.28; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 122.26; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 122.50; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 107.63; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 107.37 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 107.99 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 89.42.
In December 2023, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.03 percent, which was caused by a decrease in the index in 2 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 6 expenditure groups experienced an increase and 3 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2023 was 118.06 or an increase of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
